Where?

Sacramento City College is the oldest community college in the Los Rios Community College District, and the seventh oldest community college in California.  SCC serves thousands of students, enrolled across the college’s three locations- the main campus, the West Sacramento and Davis Education centers. SCC is a People’s College, empowering students and community through education. As an open-access college serving the Sacramento/Yolo region, they welcome anyone who wants to get a college education. SCC believes that education is a fundamental right that can transform lives and be a force for social change, and that this right should be made available to everyone. The educational opportunities available at SCC rival the quality of programs at four-year colleges and universities, and we make these opportunities affordable, accessible, and equitable to all. Our students are encouraged to pursue their own individual educational goals– whether that means transferring to a four-year institution, entering directly into the workforce, building skills to advance in their career, or engaging in personal enrichment, our degree and certificate programs are designed to help students find success and contribute to the vitality of our community.
